LGV is regularly approached by international government agencies interested in how our local government sector operates.
We enjoy exchanging knowledge and experience with international partners, both to influence international practice and to inform our own performance in local government.
Timor-Leste
LGV has a close friendship with Timor-Leste’s Ministry of State Administration. The partnership aims to strengthen the capacity of Timorese municipalities and support the decentralisation of government services.
This relationship has been formalised through a Protocol of Cooperation, and as co-signatories to the Dili Declaration.
