The Garfield North Community Centre, located at Cannibal Creek Reserve, was officially opened on Friday, 21 November 2025 and is the result of strong community advocacy and collaboration between Council, the Committee of Management and local user groups.
Designed in consultation with the community, the facility provides a versatile space to support a range of activities and events. It features a social room, meeting room, kitchen, storage area, accessible toilet, and unisex toilets and can accommodate up to 80 people.
The project was made possible through a $1.3 million investment from the Victorian Government’s Growing Suburbs Fund alongside contributions from Council.
