The new and improved Bayswater Library was officially opened on Thursday, 23 October 2025.
Still conveniently located on the lower level of the Mountain High Shopping Centre, the library has moved just a few doors down to Shop 43, behind the escalators.
The upgraded space features a larger, brighter and more contemporary open-plan layout, with versatile areas for gathering, studying and working.
The new library offers 55% more floor space, bookable meeting rooms, community rooms accommodating up to 40 people, and improved changing facilities for families. New signage, bookshelves and a book return chute were also installed with support from the Victorian State Government’s Living Libraries Infrastructure Program.
