Roadsides are a ready means for invasive plants and pest animals to spread throughout Victoria, threatening agricultural land, parks, forests and rural land asset values.

2023-2024

$2.86 million has been allocated for the 2023-2024 Roadside Weeds and Pests Program to assist eligible councils responsible for managing lengths of municipal rural roadsides.

Control Plans

For 2023-2024, eligible councils will be required to prepare a new Roadside Weeds and Pests Control Plan (Plan). The 2023-2024 Plan must be endorsed by the Agriculture Victoria regional contact listed below.
