There is now more to explore at K Road Cliffs following Wyndham City’s completion and official opening of the $7 million stage one of the $32.2 million K Road Cliffs and Road Reconstruction project on Tuesday, 11 November 2025. The project is located in the heart of the Werribee South tourism precinct. The upgrades have transformed the K Road Cliffs Precinct into an even more spectacular destination, featuring a brand-new clifftop walking path complete with lookout points that showcase sweeping views of the Werribee River and surrounding landscape. Other highlights include a new staircase leading down to the river, car park upgrades, a picnic shelter, and interpretive signage that shares stories about the area’s rich cultural and environmental history. This project also included important drainage improvements to help mitigate cliff erosion, ensuring this iconic location can be enjoyed for generations to come. Stage one was funded in partnership with the Victorian Government and Melbourne Water, with $1.5 million from the Growing Suburbs Fund.
