Stage two of the Jamieson Way Community Centre and Reserve expansion is now complete and officially opened on Thursday, 12 February 2026 - delivering fantastic new spaces for families and the wider community.
These works have brought even more exciting features to the precinct, including a new indoor multisport venue, netball pavilion with two new netball courts, landscaping, a new playground, BBQ facilities with supporting amenities and a new car park.
This is in addition to the third kindergarten room, new multipurpose meeting spaces, upgraded staff facilities, new maternal and child health consulting rooms, new reception area and community kitchen delivered in 2025 as part of stage one works.
The $16.1 million Wyndham City project will unlock more opportunities for sport, recreation and active living for Point Cook and the whole community.
This expansion has been supported by a $2.6 million Growing Suburbs Fund grant and a $2.75 million Building Blocks grant from the Victorian Government.
