2017 Roadside Weeds and Pests Management in Drought Affected Areas

The Australian Government provided funding of $500,000 in 2017 to help Victorian drought-affected areas manage roadside weeds and pests.  Councils eligible for funding were those experiencing the impacts of drought conditions which had affected areas of Victoria since July 2014.

The following councils were identified as being affected by drought – and received the following allocations to tackle roadside weeds and pests:
