Stonnington incorporates residential and commercial areas in the inner south-east of Melbourne. Retailing is the major land use, with several precincts at Chapel Street, Toorak Road, High Street and Glenferrie Road as well as the Chadstone Shopping Centre. The City has a variety of parks, gardens and open space including Victoria Gardens, Central Park, the Glen Iris Wetlands and the Urban Forest.
